In your choice of a birdcage for a cockatoo, it is important to note that the width is more essential than the height as they require their wings to be stretched frequently. A good birdcage size should measure at least 32 inches wide, 36 inches high and 32 inches long. Perches should be appropriate to fit the cockatoo?s feet. Different perch sizes also allow them to exercise their toes.
