Small Birds are a very friendly and safe pet for your children. Birds are a very attractive gift of God, easy to care of, inexpensive and take very little room. Most of the people don’t know that small birds are a wonderful companion, they learn very easily, and they can show as much affection for their care takers or owners as dogs or cats. Small birds can take care of their grooming needs on their own, and very intelligent pet to take care of.

Children can even socialize with them by sharing their meals which includes vegetables and fruits. Canaries and Finches are popular types of pet birds. They can live up to 10 years.
